Wemade – ChuanQi IP Jointly Filed an Application for Preliminary Injunction Against Actoz to Prevent Renewing Agreement with Shanda Games.

ChuanQi IP has filed an application for preliminary injunction against Actoz to prevent the renewal of an agreement with Shanda Games.

Wemade said there will be no renewal with Shanda Games, which is often involved in illegal activities.

株式会社娱美德娱乐有限公司(代表：张贤国)和子公司株式会社传奇IP，针对株式会社亚拓士(以下称为“亚拓士”)6月27日提起”禁止续签合同禁令”的诉讼。

On June 27, 2017, Wemade Entertainment Co., Ltd. (‘Wemade’) and its affiliate ChuanQi IP Co., Ltd. (‘ChuanQi IP’), filed an application for preliminary injunction against Actoz Soft Co., Ltd. (‘Actoz’) to prevent the renewal of an agreement between the companies.

株式会社传奇IP在首尔地方法院提起的”禁止更新合同禁令”申请是针对今年9月即将合同到期的<热血传奇(Legend of Mir2)> PC客户端游戏，是为了事先防止亚拓士与把不法行为和谎言当成事业的盛大游戏再续签合同。

An application for preliminary injunction has been filed in the Seoul Central District Court by ChuanQi IP, to prevent Actoz from renewing an agreement, which is to be terminated this coming September, with Shanda Games Ltd. (‘Shanda Games’), which is often involved in illegal activities regarding the ‘Legend of Mir 2’ (‘Mir 2’) IP..

盛大游戏只不过是<热血传奇(Legend of Mir2)> PC客户端游戏的运营商，但是却像著作权人一样，向中国国内的游戏公司进行非法授权并收取了分成。另外，针对与娱美德正式签署的游戏也存在隐瞒销售额规模、拖延分成等行为，且目前还在持续上述不法行为。

Shanda Games is just a publisher of the Mir 2 PC client game in China, yet it has illegally granted licenses to developers in China and is receiving royalties illegally, as if it was the genuine Intellectual Property (IP) holder of Mir 2. Moreover, regardless of the official agreement with Wemade and Actoz, the genuine IP holders of Mir 2, Shanda Games continues being involved in illegal activities such as misrepresenting the sales revenue and delaying royalty payments.

对坚持这种不法行为的盛大游戏，亚拓士续签合同是违背作为共同著作权人的权利和信义。

If Actoz renews the agreement with Shanda Games, which is involved in various illegal activities, it will be considered as violating the right of ChuanQi IP, a joint IP holder of Mir 2.

对此， 株式会社传奇IP向共同著作权人亚拓士提起了”禁止续签合同禁令”的诉讼，要求亚拓士与株式会社传奇IP合作以维护共同著作权人的权利，并因此和保护和增加各方的股东的权益和价值。

To prevent such a situation, ChuanQi IP has filed an application for preliminary injunction against Actoz. Also, Chuanqi IP demands Actoz to cooperate in regards to maintaining the rights of the Mir 2 IP holders, and thereby protecting and increasing shareholders’ right and value.

Henry Chang, CEO of ChuanQi IP, said, “There will be no renewal of Mir 2 PC client game agreement with Shanda Games which is to be terminated in this coming September.” He also added “I hope that Actoz will cooperate with ChuanQi IP to maintain both companies’ rights as IP holders, and stop supporting Shanda Games’ illegal activities.”
